This is a collection of texts that suggest and stimulate ways of being with a place. Skálanes, a nature and heritage research station at the edge of Seyðisfjörður, is the place we are with, listen to, read and write from. The last chapter compiles a series of scores to be performed outside, with the surroundings and everything that lives there as witness. These are gestures that call for attention and impossible measurements.

Unfortunately this year we couldn’t walk to Skálanes due to a heavy snow storm. Instead we recreated Skálanes vibes in Heima, a collective household and living project in Seyðisfjörður.
